Privacy policy
We only ask for the details needed to respond and understand which programme suits your situation.
PPP Week · Keep me updated
I would like updates about PPP Week. I have read the privacy information and can withdraw my consent.
You can unsubscribe by writing to info@pickleballpairperformance.com.
Commercial requests and professional updates
We retain contact details, the context you submit and administrative milestones to manage your request. Access is restricted to authorized staff, independently of notification delivery. Professional updates require separate voluntary consent and do not create an application or membership. You can withdraw through your private link or by contacting info@pickleballpairperformance.com. No automatic campaigns are active; address ownership must be verified before sending updates. Service requests do not authorize training AI models.
PPP Coaches applications
We process your name, professional email, location, background and interests to review your application. Notes and statuses are private. We link the application to an account only after checking its verified email with Clerk. Activation requires administrative review. We retain a temporary, non-reversible connection digest to limit abuse; updates require optional consent.
Data controller
ACG, tax identification number (NIF) 76953019X, at Av Ribera Baixa, 46612 Corbera, Valencia, is the data controller trading as Pickleball Pair Performance. You can contact us through the website form or at info@pickleballpairperformance.com.
Data we request
When you register for an event, we retain your name, email address, selected event, registration status, dates and the version of the privacy information accepted. This data lets us manage your participation and changes to your registration. We do not publish the participant list or subscribe you to marketing communications.
Only authorised staff can view and manage registrations. You can cancel using the private code received at registration; we retain its cryptographic digest rather than the plain code. The retention policy provides for deleting registration data 90 days after the event through service maintenance tasks. You can also request deletion at info@pickleballpairperformance.com. Event pages do not load public analytics.
PPP Week forms require your name, email, level, partnership situation, availability and goal to process and assess your enquiry. We cannot process it without these details. Phone and city are optional. On other forms, fields marked with an asterisk are required and the rest are optional.
For Club access applications, we retain your technical Clerk account identifier, playing area, approximate level, interests and reasons for joining. This form does not ask for your phone or email. If approved, Clerk allows us to use your account’s verified address to send a personal invitation without copying it to the Club database.
Purpose
We use the details you provide in the form to respond to your enquiry, assess suitability for your chosen programme, prepare a proposal and explain its terms and next steps.
If you create an account to download the free “Pickleball rules 2026” materials, we use your email to manage that access. Creating an account does not automatically subscribe you to marketing.
You can read and share Resources without an account. If you sign in with Google to react or save, we retain only the technical identifier supplied by Clerk, the related publication or resource, the reaction value and operation dates. We do not store your name, email or a public profile for this feature.
If you work with us as a player, the private Player Development tool may retain your name, approximate level, sporting context, sessions, observations, shot assessments, goals and coaching notes. It does not store your phone, email, health information or physical data in that profile.
For the Club, we process application, invitation and membership status; versioned document acceptance; the necessary subscription status projection; and first-party usage events such as resources viewed, interest in or use of benefits, access to the private channel and return visits. These metrics do not contain emails, phones, tokens, Stripe customer or subscription identifiers, or reasons for expulsion.
Legal basis
Responding to an enquiry or request for a place is based on pre-contractual steps requested by the individual. We therefore do not use a generic acceptance checkbox as the basis for answering the form.
If we offer marketing communications, use of images, testimonials or another separate purpose in future, we will request a specific, optional and separate decision where appropriate.
We process access applications to assess pre-contractual steps you request. If you become a member, data needed to provide the Club and manage the subscription is processed to perform the contract and meet applicable legal obligations. Any separate consents needed are requested individually and linked to the exact version of the accepted document.
Retention
If an enquiry does not lead to a contract, we retain the information while handling it and for no more than twelve months after the last contact. If a relationship is established, we keep the data while it remains in force and then restrict its processing during the legal periods needed to address potential liabilities. Data processed on consent is retained until consent is withdrawn, subject to applicable legal periods.
Player Development profiles are flagged for manual review after 24 months without a session, assessment, note, goal activity or explicit review. This operational criterion is neither automatic deletion nor a fixed legal deadline. Authorised staff review whether the history is still needed for coaching follow-up and document their decision to retain, archive or delete it.
Resource reactions and saved items remain while you keep that activity. In “My resources”, you can delete all saved items and reactions together. A publication can be unpublished without exposing your identity or deleting the aggregate record.
Club applications that do not lead to a relationship are retained during processing and for no more than twelve months after the last action. Contractual acceptances and essential billing data are kept during the relationship and then restricted during applicable legal periods. First-party metrics are retained for a limited period to measure retention and usage; they are not reused for personalised advertising.
Recipients and providers
Our web hosting and infrastructure providers, currently Vercel, and the email hosting and delivery providers contracted by the controller may access data as processors to operate the website and respond to enquiries. We do not sell data or disclose it to other third parties unless legally required.
We use Resend to send confirmations and emails relating to your requests. The team also receives operational notifications in Google Chat. These include only details needed to handle the request, such as name, email and request type. They do not include private goals, coaching notes or access or cancellation tokens. Confirmation messages do not subscribe you to marketing.
We use Clerk as the identity provider for access to free materials. If you accept analytics cookies, Google may process the technical data needed for Google Tag Manager and Google Analytics 4.
The private coaching tool uses Clerk to manage authorised staff access and Neon for its PostgreSQL database, hosted in a European region. The private area does not load public analytics or allow the browser to access Neon directly.
The Resource Feed also uses Clerk to authenticate interactions and Neon to store the technical identifier, reactions and saved resources. Public counts are aggregated and never include identities. YouTube videos initially appear through our own preview; the youtube-nocookie.com player loads only when you choose to play a video.
For the Club, we use Clerk for identity, Neon for the database, Stripe for Checkout, billing, payments and taxes, and Resend to deliver invitations. Stripe retains financial information under its own policy and sends us only the statuses and identifiers needed to manage access, cancellations and explicit refunds.
International transfers
Some technology providers, such as Vercel, Clerk or Google, may process data in the United States or other countries outside the European Economic Area. Any international transfer will use an applicable adequacy decision, including the EU–US Data Privacy Framework where the provider is certified, standard contractual clauses approved by the European Commission or another valid GDPR safeguard. You can request information or a copy of the applicable safeguards at info@pickleballpairperformance.com.
Access to downloads
Clerk is the identity provider for registration, sign-in and account security. It may process the technical and identification data needed to provide that service under its privacy measures and terms. Quiz results and card progress remain in your browser and are not linked to your account.
In “Learn pickleball”, started or completed status and the last chapter visited are stored only in this browser’s local storage, separated by your account’s technical identifier and the content revision. Pickleball Pair Performance does not receive or retain that progress in its database. You can remove it by clearing the website’s local data in your browser.
Website measurement
With your consent, we use Google Analytics 4 through Google Tag Manager to understand aggregate website usage. Fields you enter in forms are not sent to these tools. You can withdraw consent through “Cookie settings”.
We do not load public analytics in the authorised staff editor, “My resources”, “My Club” or “My development”. We do not send identities, reactions, saved items, membership or billing data to analytics. Internal Club metrics are stored in our own database with internal identifiers and viewed in aggregate.
Your rights
You can request access, rectification, erasure, objection, restriction and portability of your data by writing to info@pickleballpairperformance.com. Where necessary to protect your data, we may ask for information to verify your identity.
You can also lodge a complaint with the Spanish Data Protection Agency at www.aepd.es.
PPP Player Performance Assessment
The self-assessment retains your Clerk identifier, confirmed name, declared experience, answers, results, methodology and dates to provide your requested profile and history. We do not access your Clerk email for this feature or send marketing. On completion, we create or link a private profile using your account identifier. Your coaches can view your self-assessments when they have a verified link with you; this does not give you access to their notes or professional records.
Clerk handles Google authentication, Neon stores data in PostgreSQL and Vercel serves the application. Questions, results and Player Cards do not load public analytics. The estimate comes from versioned rules applied to your answers; it is not certification and does not determine access to services.
An authorised coach can assess a player using the same questionnaire and calculation. We retain the assessed player and assessment author separately. Drafts and assessments belong to their author: coaches cannot view another coach’s private assessments, even as administrators. Registering does not reveal previous records or coaches who have assessed you. You can generate a private, single-use code valid for seven days and give it to your coach. Only after confirming your identity and marking you as verified can you view their completed results, labelled “Coach assessment”, and they can view your self-assessments. Each coach’s verification is independent and revocable; we do not link people by name or email or merge records. We retain the technical account identifier and verification history, not the code in plain text. Pair assessments require the author to have verified both players. Access excludes draft answers and other internal notes. You cannot edit, delete or create Player Cards from those assessments through self-assessment controls.
Sharing a Player Card requires an explicit action. Its link shows only score, indicative level, areas, strength, priority, date and methodology. Your name is disabled by default. You can revoke the link; the page and image will stop being served, although copies held by third parties may remain beyond our control.
From your history, you can delete an individual self-assessment with its answers, result and shared links without deleting other assessments or your record. You can also delete all self-assessments and shared links together. On complete deletion, we remove the automatic profile if it has no professional activity or personal development journal. If you keep “My development”, its profile and access remain: deleting self-assessments does not delete your journal. Coach assessments and your access to their results remain only while that coach’s verification is valid. If there is other coaching activity but no personal journal, we retain that professional record for its purpose and remove only the self-assessment and account link, explaining the scope. Retention is subject to the manual review described for Player Development; you can exercise your rights through the channels above. The Rules 2026 quiz described under “Access to downloads” is separate from this self-assessment.
My development
Your personal journal retains the sessions, matches, goals, actions and reviews you enter, their context, authorship and dates. Changes retain versions to reconstruct your journey. Access requires your account, not Club membership or a previous assessment. We do not link people by name.
Your journals and reflections are private to your account. Team access to assessments does not grant access to these records. Internal coaching data retains its permissions and does not automatically enter your journal. References to participants without accounts are private: use a name or alias, without contact details, health data or other sensitive information.
You can delete each entry and its versions after confirmation; first unlink any dependent entries. This does not delete assessments or other people’s contributions. Clerk authenticates, Neon stores the journal and Vercel serves the application. We do not send journal content to analytics services.
Your pair space
A Pair Passport can start with a private reference to a partner without an account. We do not attribute statements to them or create a user on their behalf. To link an account, that person must accept the invitation and the inviter must confirm their identity. Links expire after seven days and can be revoked. We do not email invitations.
Accepting does not publish your previous journal. You choose which versions to share. Personal activity shares only the basic details shown at confirmation, excluding private notes and perceptions. Written pair contributions also require explicit publication. Recording the same match does not merge your observations.
In Sync and Review, each person answers independently. Drafts remain private; submission fixes your answer, which is shared only when both have submitted and continue sharing the space. An agreement requires both people to confirm the same version. Differences show two perspectives, not certification or a chemistry score.
Either person can stop sharing. The server then stops serving the other person’s contributions and joint comparisons. Each person retains their own contributions and the historical reference to the pair. Sharing again requires new acceptance from both people and does not republish previous content. You can delete your answers or withdraw proposal text: your partner’s answers or confirmations are not deleted, but results that depend on the withdrawn source stop appearing.
Automated decisions
We do not make decisions based solely on automated processing that produce legal or similarly significant effects on individuals.
This is a provisional document for a website at an early stage. It will be updated once the project’s identification details and final providers are confirmed.
