Picture yourself on court
Answer concrete situations with explanations and visual guidance. There are no answers you need to guess.
02
Understand your profile
An indicative decimal level, PPP Score and seven areas with coverage and confidence in the estimate. The source and methodology explain where each result comes from.
03
Practise with direction
Choose a next step, learn from published content and keep your history. My development, in beta, lets you record what you do and review what you observe. Sharing a Player Card is optional.
Learn while assessing your game
Understand what you are assessing.
Explore a situation step by step. Each skill in the questionnaire has an explanation and this visual guide, without leaving the assessment.
A third-shot drop is a soft third shot played by the serving team, usually from the baseline, towards the opponents’ kitchen.
Deny an attacking ball and open the transition.
After the return bounces, reach a stable contact position from the baseline.
What to look for
- Enough height to clear the net with margin.
- Decide whether to advance based on the response, rather than automatically.
Common mistake: Running towards the net even though the drop is high.
This guide does not change your answer. Assess what you have actually practised, rather than what you have just learned here.
Before you start.
Is this an official rating?
No. It is based on how you describe your game. It does not replace DUPR or measure competitive results. The level bands are a methodological hypothesis awaiting calibration.
What if I do not know a shot?
If a situation is not part of your game yet, select 1. This means you do not yet describe it as functional, without attributing a cause. If you resume an assessment from an earlier version, its own instructions and options remain.
Who can see my results?
You and authorised PPP staff. Completing the assessment creates or links your private Player Development profile. Sharing a Player Card is optional and you can revoke its link.
Can I stop and return later?
Yes. Your answers are saved to your account. You can resume and repeat the assessment to keep a record of different stages of your development.
A self-assessment based on your answers: it does not certify your level or replace a professional assessment. Explore the full development framework.
