A professional perspective
Resources for coaches and professionals
Player development benefits from different perspectives. These resources present PPP’s framework and tools as educational references; they are neither a training programme nor a coaching certification.
01
A shared framework
The PPP Player Development Framework organises understanding, priorities, practice and review. It can support conversations about player development without replacing professional judgement.
02
Distinguish observation from self-report
A self-assessment records what the player reports; a coach assessment records its author’s judgement. The PPP Player Profile preserves that source alongside the date and methodology. Perspectives are neither overwritten nor merged; sharing the tool does not make them the same source of evidence.
03
Resources with context
When using a guide or video, preserve its authorship and source. Distinguish PPP’s editorial interpretation from official rules and third-party references. Selecting a resource does not imply endorsement or collaboration with its author.
04
Room to evolve
PPP may connect players’ needs with resources, practice, new assessments and professionals. A professional directory and booking service are not available at this stage.
